We discuss the choice of number and attachment of the component leaf units, the choices for the central core tube and inter-element connection system, and how the elements are supported within a multi-element housing against flow induced differential pressure.

Components like cabbage waste, banana peels, and orange peels fermented rapidly both in a plug-flow biogas reactor (PFBR) as well as under a biological methane potential (BMP) assay, while other OFMSW components (leaf litter from bamboo and teak leaves and newsprint) fermented slowly with poor process stability and moderate biodegradation.
The cellular components (leaf and root) category consisted of total 878 GO terms, which were assigned to 81348 unigenes.
In a more recent detailed study, Pask et al. (2012) partitioned the 'fertile shoots' of a single wheat variety into four components: leaf lamina, leaf sheaths, stems and ears.
To study possible causes of the differences among populations, regression analyses of the influence of habitat characteristics of the populations of origin on the four trait PCs and on three traits that were not related to these components (leaf narrowness, SLA and start of flowering) were carried out.
The fertile shoots were broken down into their component organs: leaf-1 (flag leaf lamina), leaf-2, leaf-3, leaf-R (all remaining leaf laminae), leaf sheaths (combined), true stem including peduncle, and ear (further separated into grain and chaff (rachis, palea, lemma, glume and awn) at GS 92).
Nevertheless, the downward component of leaf SIF is often not considered despite that downward fluorescence yield (↓FY) can amount up to 40% of the total fluorescence yield (FYtot). Downward SIF is mainly emitted in the far-red, since this part of fluoresced light is highly scattered within leaves, unlike red Chl fluorescence, which is mostly reabsorbed.
The absence of variation in the third NMR signal component with leaf ageing that is generally attributed to plastids (Musse et al. 2013) and observed for both genotypes and conditions was in accordance with the preservation of plastid integrity estimated by micrographs and confirmed by physiological parameters.
The resulting giant component excluding leaf nodes is shown in Fig. 1e.
Figure 1b shows the giant component (excluding leaf nodes) of a randomized yeast PIN.
