Additionally, as exercise compliance is always an issue in clinical settings, to increase applicability we excluded those known to be highly compliant with exercise (i.e., participate in structured exercise more than twice a week).
This rate has to be slowed down in case of limitation of knee ROM (when a patient is not compliant with knee exercises) or if a patient experiences pin tract infection requiring a period of rest and antibiotic therapy.
