The multilocus sequence type (MLST) clonal complex designation was determined for all genomes using MIST (Kruczkiewicz et al. 2013) with the definition file provided by the Campylobacter pubMLST website.
In general, the phylogenetic analysis of the 11 concatenated gene sequences created clusters that correlated with the ST-complex designations.
