The completion of the VM migration for various RTT values is depicted in Fig. 18.
The oscillatory behavior began immediately following neuronal proliferation and lasted until completion of the multipolar migration stage.
At stage 13, following completion of migration, the PMECs form a columnar epithelium with apico-basal polarisation of proteins, such as Filamin-1 (Fig. 6A).
The entire project from requirements gathering through completion of migration of the system took three years.
In contrast, metastatic cancer cells often have weak cell-matrix adhesion, so strengthening their attachment to the matrix facilitates the completion of cell migration cycles.

We observed substantial variation in native germ cell numbers between different mice, especially in early development; this natural variation likely reflects a combination of differences in the timing of the completion of migration, proliferation of initial germ cell populations, and arrest or entry into meiosis, as well as genetic background effects as previously reported [2], [41] [43].
We confirmed that when we used our system to express Rac1CA under the control of the CAG promoter, only a few neurons expressing the exogenous gene were present in the cortical plate even at P16, 1 week after completion of neuronal migration; most remained in the SVZ, consistent with the results obtained by transient expression (Fig. 5C) (Konno et al. 2005).
With the completion of the Gezhouba Dam in 1981, the migration route of A. sinensis to the historic spawning areas in the upper Yangtze River and lower Jinsha River was blocked, and fish were restricted to the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River (approximately 1,675 km river length, rkm 0 is at the estuary) (Figure 2) ([Wei et al. 1997]).
