Participants completed 6 lessons, weekly homework assignments, and received weekly email contact from a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist until completion of lesson 2. After lesson 2 email contact was only provided in response to participant request, or in response to a deterioration in psychological distress scores.
Of those completing About Being Active, 145 could choose to complete it in any order (i.e., 19 were in the group with requisite completion of this lesson last), and of these, 23 (16%) completed it first, 19 (13%) second, 13 (9%) third, 13 (9%) fourth and 77 (53%) completed it last.
Inside, children raise their hands excitedly to ask questions or to point out their completion of a lesson in math, spelling or reading.

Following the completion of the lesson plans, the MSU (S partners will conduct small group breakout meetings and on-going goal setting and evaluation via a web-based goal tracking and education program.
Data collection in all three states occur at baseline (prior to the first lesson of the HT or the control intervention), at post (after completion of the eighth lesson, after 3 months for controls), and at 6 months after completion of the 2nd data collection for both the intervention and control groups.
Participants received emails/or phone calls from a clinician, until completion of Lesson 2 because our previous research study has found that additional clinician support does not add any further benefit to participants [ 13].

All teachers received a manual describing the structure of each lesson and goals for the distinctive parts of the lessons.
