The completeness of the population-based data from the German cancer registries analysed every year by the RKI is checked using a procedure that has been agreed with the registries [ 7].
The completeness in the report of population counts was also studied.

The selection of the monitors was based on local criteria, mainly on the completeness of measurements and representation of population exposure.
