7259 adults returned questionnaires in which all items in one section (Keele Assessment of Participation (KAP)[ 34]) had been completed (overall response = 71.3%) (April 2002).
The complete and overall response rates were 46%and80%0%, respectively.
Of those patients evaluable for response, there were eight partial and one complete response (overall response rate 38%).
A partial plus complete or overall response rate occurred in 25/98 (26%) patients and 12 patients had stable disease.
Thus, chemotherapy is often combined with an anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody (rituximab) in patients with advanced stage disease, resulting in enhanced complete and overall response rates.

Chow et al. showed in their prospectively collected group of 518 patients the complete, partial, and overall response rates ranged from 21%to2525%, 26%to30%0%, and 46%to50%0% [ 22].
