The code is "intended to be specific enough to achieve complete harmonization on issues where uniformity is required, yet general enough in other areas to permit flexibility on how agreed-upon antidoping principles are implemented".

As mentioned before, up to date, this framework has completed proficiency panels and published harmonization guidelines for the top immune assays (Elispot, peptide-multimer assays, intracellular cytokine staining, and Luminex) [ 48, 68].
The study was completed in compliance with the Declaration of Helsinki and the International Conference on Harmonization Good Clinical Practice Guidelines; institutional review boards reviewed and approved the protocol for each study site; and all patients provided written, informed consent before participation in the trial (11, 12).
