In the migrant-health arena, innovative approaches to managing demands for medical treatment and wellness promotion include complementary integrations of biomedical and ethnocultural explanatory frameworks and health-related practices [ 107, 124, 109, 151- 108, 108, 96] and incorporate multilevel linkages of individual, socio-political, and ecological considerations [ 154, 155].
