Portlander Christopher Kirkley put together a compilation of stuff collected from the cell phones of music listeners in Western Africa and released it a few years ago on cassette, called simply Music From Saharan Cell Phones Vol. 1, via his Sahel Sounds.
The imprint's inaugural release, the Kaoz Theory compilation, is stuffed to the gills with top tier talent, featuring the Martinez Brothers, Chez Damier, Seth Troxler, Deroit Swindle and DJ W ld amongst others.
So to honor those moments of public mortification, World Wide Interweb put together a video mash-up they call "The Ultimate People Walking Into Stuff Compilation".
And trust us when we say, this compilation is absolutely stuffed full of winners.

Hebden has worked with Souleyman before – as producer, he helped transform the wedding singer's sound from the stuff of bootlegged compilation tapes to the cleaner, critically lauded 2013 album Wenu Wenu, released on Domino records imprint, Ribbon Music.
The plan is next year I'll probably do a compilation of all the different stuff I've done over the years with some new things alongside it.
