To convert effort into performance requires support with direction, competencies (or development) and resources [ 8].
Once actors, activities and resources in a learning scenario have been referenced using a competency profile, we need to be able to compare competencies to find appropriate actors, activities or resources that can support the learners in the scenario.
Our recommendation/adaptation agents will evaluate if a user's actual competency coincides, is very near, near or far from the prerequisite or target competencies of a resource or an activity, as well as compared to the actual competencies of another user.
