In this paper we will disentangle these terms and critique the use of competence frameworks in nursing education.
In light of the competence frameworks in PISA, we argue that there are a number of skills that can be found in math, science, and problem solving: information retrieval and processing, knowledge application, and evaluation of results (Griffin et al. [2012]; OECD [2004], [2005]).
