In comparison with pilot-assisted CE with the TDM pilot, the MSE of the channel estimator with the pilot-assisted CE based on the FDM pilot is more affected by nonlinear noise.
However, in comparison with pilots, ICU specialists are less likely to report making errors (or to feel comfortable discussing error), and they tend to have overly positive perceptions (compared with junior team members) toward team communication [ 17, 32].
Thus, the higher BER with FDM pilot in comparison with TDM pilot is observed.
Naturally, this will have a negative effect on the FDM pilot performance in comparison with TDM pilot.
