In order to aid comparison, observed and predicted values of F2-region peak parameters are plotted together for four different seasons in Figs. 1 6.
The proportion of cases with statistically significant inconsistency (P<0.05) between the direct and indirect comparison observed in this study was 14%, much higher than the expected 5% (statistical significance α=0.05) and higher than that found in a previous study (7%).
The first comparison examined the smaller and younger AR chromosome that was derived from ST (ST → AR, 5.9-Mb inversion accounting for ~23.8 cM on the genetic map) and the second comparison observed the larger and older PP arrangement derived from ST (ST → PP, 11.6-Mb inversion accounting for ~46.9 cM on the genetic map).

Statistically significant concordance was detected for both comparisons (observed vs expected concordances = 29 vs 1.8, p<0.001 and 5 vs 0.25, p<0.001, respectively).
We can then use the SWISS score with and without a perfect-feature gene to assess the biologic significance relative to any statistically significant comparisons observed in an experiment.
Figure 4 shows the network diagram for the various comparisons observed in the included studies.
However in DKR and DKV, the significant FST comparisons observed with full data set were not observed when full-sibs were removed.
The power for all statistically significant comparisons observed was at or above 80%, unless otherwise noted (in which case, further analysis was performed to determine what sample size would be required to reach this power).
Both the oddball-EMMN in deviant-standard comparison and the controlled-EMMN in deviant-control comparison were observed at occipital-temporal regions with right hemisphere predominance.
