When the CCR2 inhibitor was administered locally into the fat pad to avoid more widespread systemic effects (Fig. 6n, Supplementary Table 6), intra-epithelial macrophage content was reduced compared to contra-lateral control-treated glands (Fig. 6o, Supplementary Table 6).
