Overall serotype distribution among vaginal vs rectal isolates was comparable, with a rectal predominance of Ia, i.e. 1 vaginal isolate vs 5 rectal isolates and a vaginal predominance of III, i.e. 10 vaginal isolates vs 4 rectal isolates.
