The diversity of amplified cooS genes was surveyed in Z. nevadensis, C. punctulatus, and P. americana by RFLP analysis of a 95-clone library generated from the gut communities of each of these insects.
Finally, a similarity percentage (SIMPER) analyses was used to determine the relative contribution of each bacterial species to the observed similarity between the bacterial communities of each of three factors; coral species, site and health (reported percent contributions indicate the average contribution of each bacterial associate to the similarity within each grouping factor).

The bacterial community profile of each of the three lobes were dominated in all three samples by the genus Pseudomonas (Figure 4A, Tissue), which was very similar to that of the BAL sample from our severe COPD subject (CS 4) and a number of others (Figure 2).
First we divided managed sites into six groups (every fifth meter 1-5, 6-10 etc)., and then compared the species community composition of each of the managed groups to unmanaged sites.

And if we say we are something other than members of this "American democratic community" first, then we are undermining and will ultimately destroy the possibility of this community for each of us individually and for our collective enterprise as a whole.
This argument applies, on the smaller scale of doctor-patient interaction and patient advocacy, one of the primary justifications for the indispensable value of community to each of its members.
