This is an absolute shock to the media, since they have been obsessing over only one bill out of a total of five that congressional committees have passed to date -- the one produced by Max Baucus Senate Finance Committeee.

In a statement, the committee summarized its findings to date substantially as follows: "The personal election campaign expenditures of $510, including a $500 contribution to the Democratic County Committee of Duchess County, New York, and $10 spent for postage are listed by President Roosevelt in his report".
It may be the committee's biggest challenge to date, really testing the limits of what it means to be in the "popular repertoire".
"The allegation that the President of the United States may have suborned perjury before our committee in an effort to curtail the investigation and cover up his business dealings with Russia is among the most serious to date," committee chairman Adam Schiff said in a statement.
A spokesman said: "It requires an extraordinary executive committee to confirm a date and agenda for the extraordinary elective congress.
