[McAdam and Pals (2006]) identify these facets of social interaction and their associated personality traits as social dominance (extraversion), negativity and instability (neuroticism), cooperation (agreeableness), trust and commitment (conscientiousness), and openness to change and learning (openness to experience).
All three latent concepts in the tool were also represented in the qualitative data: organisational commitment, job satisfaction and conscientiousness.
The aims of this process were 1) to test the assertion of Mbindyo et al. 31 Patrick et al 32 and Wilbroad et al 33 developed a tool to measure health worker motivation and revealed that organisational commitment, conscientiousness, intrinsic job satisfaction, timeliness and attendance were the major determinants of higher motivation.
Openness, Altruism and Conscientiousness remained stable.
Emotional stability and conscientiousness inversely predicted exhaustion and cynicism, while emotional stability, conscientiousness, and extraversion predicted vigor and dedication.
