Regardless of the hydrologic gradient, mean values for the proportion of root segment colonized by hypha ranged from 13%to20%0%, which were less variable than the vesicle colonization (ranged from 2%to6%6%) and the arbuscules colonization (ranged from 2%to8 8%) (Table 1).
