The warmth of a tungsten bulb or flame illuminating a creamy page and ink-black (naturally) text is very difficult to replicate, and at the time they had to settle for something quite a bit colder, color-wise.
"We gave the warmer colors to the south side, and colder colors to the north side, reproducing colors of transition between each of them, along the east and west sides of the towers," they explain.
The first paintings in the series of interiors are in colder colors of gray scale plus green and blue, but over the course of making ten paintings, moving 360 degrees around the living-room, the colors have gradually become warmer.
In contrast, GM6001-treatment rescued the OD-shift, since after MD V1 was activated equally strongly by both eyes, the ODI-histogram shifted to the left and colder colors appeared in the OD-map.
