We have developed an enclosive flow cell based on the design of Bauerecker in order to obtain rotationally and vibrationally cold spectra of species such as fluorocarbons and have recorded high-resolution FTIR-spectra of a number of species.
The 10B coating on the GaAs detector allows the detection of the cold neutron spectrum with reasonable efficiency.
