Coherence induced by incoherent field and tunnel coupling in the QW system plays an important role in light matter interaction and has found numerous implementations in semiconductor optics.
Firstly, the increase in noise-induced coherence as the system approaches the onset of thermoacoustic instability can be considered as a precursor to the instability.
