After adjustment for sex, age, BMI, smoking, alcohol and coffee consumption 24 hr prior to the examination, time of the day, day of the week, 24 hr mean outdoor temperature, and barometric pressure, CRAE was associated inversely with the PM10 and BC concentration in the hours and days before the clinical examination (Table 2).
