The layer of polymer on the surface of the particles is clearly visible under the high-resolution electron microscopic image further indicating that the coating of polymer on GoldMag was successful (Fig. 2b).
Spray coating of polymer latex onto fertilizer particles in a fluidized bed for producing controlled-release urea is an environment friendly technology as it does not need any toxic organic solvent.
This phenomenon was normal in the initial stage of many drug release systems [32] and it was reduced to 18% for felodipine loaded nanoparticles and also exhibited slow drug release at least 96 h due to the coating of polymer around the drug.
To do that, the active carbon particles prior to the polymer coating were modified with an acid for individual separation without agglomeration between particles, producing a more effective coating of polymer on the carbon particles.

The improved durability of the combined alkali and polymer modified jute appears to be due to the reduction of fibre mineralization by forming a protective coating of polymer on the fibre surface as demonstrated by elemental analysis, FTIR, XRD, NMR, SEM in conjugation with EDS.
The stent back-bone is covered in an 8.3 μm thick coating of polymer containing sirolimus [ 1, 5].
