The BDI demonstrates high internal consistency, test-retest reliability and convergent validity with the Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression Revised [ 67] The CMRS is a 20 item scale [ 68] developed as a self-report scale of client perceptions across four interrelated domains: circumstances (external pressure), motivation (intrinsic pressure), readiness and suitability for residential treatment.
In order to compare the antibiotic efficacy of lichenicidin against MRSA strains to that other lantibiotics, we tested solutions containing lichenicidin, mersacidin, Pep5 and nisin against S. aureus SG511 (sensitive laboratory strain - MSSA), S. aureus ATCC 33592 (MRSA) and S. aureus LT440/09 (cMRSA).
In addition, a recent report described a case of fatal cMRSA/pandemic A(H1N1 2009 influenzavirus infection in a previously well 42-year-old male who died within 48h of admission [41]; this patient did not receive antiviral therapy, but did receive vancomycin and clindamycin.
The clinical characteristics of the cases of cMRSA/pandemic A(H1N1 2009 influenzavirus co-infection are summarized in table 1.
