Peptide samples were directly loaded onto a biphasic MudPIT back column packed with 4 cm strong-cation exchange (SCX) resin followed by 3 cm C18 reversed phase (RP) resin (Luna and Aqua respectively, Phenomenex), as previously described [ 31, 32].
For the pure PEDOT PTS film [Figure 6 (I), curve (a)], the characteristic Raman bands appeared at approximately 1,560 to 1,510 cm-1 (weak), 1,436 cm-1 (strong), and 1,365 cm-1 (weak) and are related to C = C stretching and C-C stretching.
The μ-FTIR spectrum obtained from T5 sample (Figure 6B) shows a good match with the azurite standard spectrum, as the characteristic absorption peaks of this pigment are observed: 3428 cm-1 (only one peak), 951 and 835 cm-1 (weak peaks) 1408 cm-1 (strong peak) and at 1030 cm-1.
Typical spectra of natural resins show a broad band in the 3500 cm-1 region due to the stretching of OH groups, absorption of C = O and C-O groups occur respectively at 1715 1695 cm-1 (strong) and 1240 cm-1 (weak).
The obtained spectrum is characterized by the following absorption bands: 3400 cm-1 (broad) due to the OH stretching; C = O stretching occurs at 1780, and 1730 (as shoulders) due to the presence of drying oils and 1707 cm-1 (strong) can be ascribed to resins.
