The main contributions of our work include the design of a new objective function to guide the clustering of time series data and the development of novel updating rules for iterative cluster searching with respect to smooth subspaces.
In fact, this local search is executed simultaneously by the set of the CAs agents, where each CA starts the research from an elite solution of its cluster searching to attain new more dominant individual solutions separately in its assigned cluster ({rm {CL}}_{i},) see Fig. 8.
Hence a review team will need to consider the use of systematic techniques of cluster searching.
However cluster searching should not be considered an alternative to topic-based searching.
Our Local Affinity Density method also identified a significantly greater proportion of Tinman-coexpressed genes than equivalent, optimized cluster searching.
