From our vantage, the modest Santa Anas could almost be mistaken for distant Himalayan peaks, wreathed as they were by clouds so far below their summits.
The only clouds so far have come at Mark Fast's show on Saturday morning, when the stylist for the collection stormed out in an apparent row over Fast's use of three size 14 models.
"The temperature conditions and the extent of polar stratospheric clouds so far this year indicate that the degree of ozone loss will be smaller than in 2011 but probably somewhat larger than in 2010," the World Meteorological Organization WMOO) said in a statement.
Those photographs show a liminal realm--that's not the surface of the Earth, or the area where we're used to seeing airplanes and balloons fly, not with those clouds so far below, not with the black sky and the curvature of the Earth visible.
But, to our best knowledge, no cloud provider so far provides a system which informs user promptly if the cloud infrastructure gets attacked, enabling them to evaluate the risk of keeping their cloud services productive during the attack.
Furthermore, no cloud provider so far shares information about possible security issues caused by software running directly on cloud host machines.
The company has also made significant investments to its cloud portfolio so far this year with the announcement last month of products including SAP HANA smart data integration, SAP Cloud Identity Access Governance, SAP Data Services and SAP HANA smart data quality.
So the only circumstance in which it would be interesting and live to examine that is in relation to the actual uploading of documentation onto the cloud — and so far as that is concerned the same constraints on selection and examination would apply as they apply to all other communications.
The clouds are so far away--about 11 billion light-years--that they can't be seen directly.
But it would be a killer app for platform clouds, which so far have left many developers asking "What's the point?
