A comparison of Dibrugarh NmF2 and hmF2 data is made with that of Okinawa (26.8° N, 127° E, 17° N geomagnetic) which lies in the same geomagnetic latitude but close to the longitude of the nighttime peak in WN4 (120° E).
Bellingshausen made two circumnavigations mainly in latitudes between 60 and 67°S, and in January 1821 reached his most southerly point at 70°S, in a longitude close to that in which Cook had made his record 47 years earlier.
Note that the fluid upwellings appear very close to the longitudes of the hot CMB heat flux ridges, in contrast to previous studies of numerical dynamos with a ({Y_{2}^{2}}) CMB heat flux pattern in which a phase shift was found between the heat flux and the flow structures (Aubert et al. 2007; Olson and Christensen 2002; Takahashi et al. 2008).
Looking at the time derivative of this secular variation, the secular acceleration, we find that it has been dominated by a series of pulses, seen most clearly at low latitudes in the Atlantic sector and also at longitudes close to (100^{circ }hbox {E}).
Under high-solar activity conditions, EPBs have been commonly observed in the Southeast Asian longitude sector close to the June solstice (see 2002 data in Li et al. (2011)'s Fig. 3).
This view was supported in 2007 by Hudjashov et al. [11] who indicated that groups of modern humans who immigrated to Australia or PNG had been isolated since their initial settlement, and that haplogroup P had probably made it first appearance in the close vicinity of PNG longitudes [11], [12].
When we examine disturbances in the dipolar portion of the magnetosphere, that we conservatively take to be within 12 Jovian radii (RJ), we find that energetic electron events are more often seen on passes in which Io is close to Galileo's perijove longitude.
These discontinuities show that 0 ° CGM longitude is very close to the East Hudson Bay part of AUTUMNX. Figure 4 also shows schematically, as red lines, the Hydro-Québec electrical transmission network.
The three Swarm satellites are identical, and the constellation consists of two satellites (A and C) flying almost side by side at an altitude close to 460 km (April 2016), longitude separation of 1.4° and on circular and almost polar orbits with an inclination of 87.4°.
Although there are several fast anomalies, the slow anomalies show a trend that the values decrease gradually with the increase of longitude, meaning the closer they are to the African Anomaly, the larger P-wave velocity reductions they exhibit.
