Several studies report that FHY3 and FAR1 are required for regulating various aspects of plant processes, such as far-red-mediated seedling de-etiolation, the circadian clock, chloroplast division, and chlorophyll biosynthesis [ 118– 118].

To further examine the relationship between the circadian clock and cell division rhythms, molecular neurobiologist Hitoshi Okamura of Kobe University, Japan, and his colleagues looked at cell division following liver surgery in mice.
