Recent Ago HITS-CLIP studies have generated a precise genome-wide map of Ago-binding sites in various biological contexts, including mouse brain, C. elegans, and cultured cells, and have provided compelling data supporting the general features of target sites previously described such as seed pairing and structural accessibility.
