Under the supervision of clinical professors, Clinic students engage in litigation before administrative agencies and courts on a range of matters.
During the Spring Quarter all 1L's will be invited to attend informational meetings at which the details of the clinical courses are discussed and current clinic students and faculty are available to answer questions.
First year students are also welcome to stop by the Arthur O. Kane Center for Clinical Legal Education to talk with clinic students and faculty about the clinical programs.
"I would compare it to army boot camp," says William A. Jacobson, associate clinical professor and director of Cornell's Securities Law Clinic, of the training three clinic students undertook in preparation for the recent Securities Dispute Resolution Triathlon.
"This film holds particular resonance for our community," said Elizabeth Brundige, an associate clinical professor at the Law School, who organized the Colloquium with her Gender Justice Clinic students and their campus and community partners.
Clinic students are members of that law firm.
