Google charges less for mobile than for its traditional web browser ads, which is why even though ad sales increased throughout the quarter, the cost per click figure declined.
We deliberately introduced ambiguity by presenting multiple visual targets for a single auditory click (Figure 1A).
Speaking of ads, some folks are probably eyeing up Google's paid clicks and cost-per-click figures, especially in light of reports from both The Search Agency and Adobe (via VentureBeat) that pointed to a likely upswing in both rather the divergence we usually see.
