In the past several years, DNA microarrays have been used to identify differential gene expression among different grades of brain tumors [1], for tumor classification [2] [4], prognosis [5], [6], and screening for epigenetic changes [7], [8].
The aforementioned approaches were tested on three datasets that are chosen to demonstrate the applicability of the methods for classification and rapid screening of large databases.
