In order to define which types of problems should be included in our testing approach, we surveyed the state of the art in data quality classification and identified representative data quality problems (e.g., misspellings, abbreviations, imprecisions, extraneous data) associated with common data types (e.g., text, numbers, dates) in a previous work [23].
