There are big steps forward, like Novartis' Entresto for treating heart failure or Bristol-Myers Squibb's anti-cancer drug Opdivo, but there are also incremental steps like Rexulti, the umpteenth antipsychotic and Sayvasa, the third in a new class of stroke-preventing medicines.
