Using SQL queries of the Microsoft Access program, we first extracted values of 12 key attributes from individual state and regional FIA databases − plot number, tree species, dbh, tree status, trees per unit area that a sample tree represents, elevation, slope, forest type, site productivity class, latitude, longitude, and inventory year.
