In the second factor analysis in which the Americans with chronic illness were studied (Table 4), the first factor was composed of all the items in the social, community and civic activities category (#7,8), 3 of the 4 items in personal development and fulfillment (#9,10,12) as well as 2 items from recreation (#13,14).
And in the we-need-this-for-civic-pride category is Detroit, which ranks sixth despite the 0-16 recofd of the 2008 Lions.
