Based on the principle of steady heat conduction, as shown in Fig. 5, we could deduce the energy balance equations of heat flow circulation sections in the annulus and wellbore.
The HENDEL was composed of helium gas circulation loops, mother sections (M1 and M2) and adaptor section (A), and two test sections, i.e. the fuel stack test section (T1) and in-core structure test section (T2).
