Importantly, we observed that chronologically age-matched individuals, from the same population, without altered intestinal permeability do not show major changes in these parameters with age.
Chronologically, the first manifestation observed was dry eye, followed by deposition of amyloid in the iris and anterior capsule in the lens and VAC.
