How should we decide which is the best choice, coding or not?
The model tested for the effects of reward (coded as rewarded 1, unrewarded –1) and transition type (coded as common 1, rare –1) on the preceding trial in predicting each trial's choice (coded as switch 0 and stay 1, relative to the previous choice).
