CHITTAGONG, BANGLADESH — It is not the most glamorous of campuses: a handful of converted apartment blocks, huddled around a short, narrow gated street that ends in a small garden.
It has air transportation service, and a regular ferry links it with Chittagong in Bangladesh.
If England struggled with the second track at Mirpur (and in fact it was seam, not spin, that did for them), then they will not like Chittagong much either, where it should be slower and grippier still, and the toss – win and stick them in – is key.
In the Chittagong Hill Tracts area it is known as the Kynsa Khyoung.

Power of sport On a cricket pitch outside the Shere Bangla National Stadium in the city of Chittagong, two teams battled it out in the regional finals, showing off their skills with the bat and ball before a passionate crowd of mainly men and boys.
In Australia, they were largely undone by pace; in West Indies, on pitches that will be more akin to those in Bangladesh (or at least Chittagong, so the intelligence has it, where England play their group matches), it has been the leg breaks and, mostly, googlies, of Samuel Badree and the low-slung artful medium pace of Krishmar Santokie.
"Chittagong has been fantastic but it's not Lord's.
"The dew won't be as much a factor at Nagpur as it was in Chittagong," explains Shankar Kalyanaraman.
