Child rights sensitization and media outreach activities are being held throughout June and July.
For the past several years, UNICEF has been supporting Isra Institute to carry out a series of child rights sensitization workshops for professional media, journalism professors and journalism students in order to promote children's rights and ethical reporting on children within the media.
In a subset of children whose sensitization status was determined independent of the clinical diagnoses, the mean PGE levels were significantly higher for the sensitized children, compared to either the non-sensitized children.
However, in keeping with the socio-economic status of the children examined, sensitization to Ascaris was more common in the urban poor and suburban/rural communities where the prevalence of asthma was lower.
The impaired intestinal barrier function detected in ASD might predispose autistic children to sensitization to environmental antigens by allowing the passage of dietary-derived nonself antigens in the intestinal lamina propria, thereby triggering an immune response to these molecules [ 5, 6].
Although the nature of intestinal damage in ASDs is not yet clearly defined, the inflammatory innate immune responses present in ASDs could predispose children to sensitization to common dietary proteins, leading to GI inflammation and aggravation of some behavioural symptoms [ 20].

However, in contrast to FOXP3+CD25high T cells (Fig. 2), univariate analyses showed that the proportions of FOXP3+CD25+ were significantly higher only at birth, and not at 3 days of life, among children with allergic sensitization at 18, but not 36 months of age compared with non-sensitized children.
The organisation has bought and distributed toys for children, organised community sensitization meetings on water, sanitation and hygiene, and continues to advocate for child safety and protection practices.
Among children with remittent sensitization, i.e. sensitization at 4 but not at 8 years, only 38% of the children were mono-sensitized and as many as 20% were sensitized to four inhalant allergens or more.
In all children a significant sensitization to milk proteins have been documented within 2 years after vaccine reaction.
