Two authors (KHK and JWK) converted the CONSORT statement and STRICTA guidelines into 22 and 15 checklist items for data extraction and assessment, respectively.
This leads to a stepwise approach and checklist for a complete data analysis and data representation.
The authors worked independently of a checklist of criteria for data interpretation and without assuming the objective existence of a true coding framework for the study data.

Following a checklist, current data for core indicators for CKD care including anemia, calcium, phosphate and PTH metabolism, nutrition, metabolic acidosis, hyperlipidemia, blood pressure, and dialysis options including vascular access, are compared to target values.
