The nodules tend to be sharply defined and of homogeneous density and have a characteristic upper lobe and posterior predominance.
Cysts have a characteristic upper and middle lung zone predominance sparing the costophrenic angles and the lung bases (Fig. 36).
Distinctive findings on HRCT that favour centrilobular emphysema are the absence of perceptible wall of the small centrilobular lucencies with characteristic upper lobe predominance and the presence of a "white dot" in the middle of these lucencies representing the centrilobular artery [64] (Fig. 38).
Characteristic upper endoscopic findings are edema, congestion, mucosal ulcerations, multiple punched-out gastric ulcers, erosions, and upper GI hemorrhage [ 5].
In the supernatant fraction, the characteristic upper and lower bands of the FLAG BRI1 protein (corresponding to hyper- and hypo-phosphorylated forms respectively) were clearly apparent as visualized by an approximate 1 2.9 ratio in densitometry, but primarily the lower band was retained on the AtCaM7-affinity resin (1 15 ratio in densitometry between hyper- and hypo-phosphorylated forms).

To assess the sex differences in the clinical and pathologic characteristics of upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC) and to determine the effect on prognosis after radical nephroureterectomy (RNU) in a large multicenter series.
Relevant characteristics include upper and lower limits for rotor speed, over-loading capability of power converters, auxiliary frequency controller parameters and maximum power rate limit (dP/dt)max [4, 31, 32, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42].
