This is the first evaluation of changes in bar workers' attitudes towards legislation prohibiting smoking in enclosed public places in Scotland.
The tenth study, using the same Californian dataset, found that changes in bar and off-premise outlet densities were positively related, and restaurant densities negatively related, to attempted and completed suicide rates [ 34].
This paper offers the first Scottish perspective on changes in bar workers' attitudes towards the legislation before and after its implementation, the health effects of SHS and working in a smoke-free environment.

Using a set of the satellite images captured during the period of 1984 1986 and of 2013 2014, we developed rating curves of emerged bar surface area with the corresponding river stage height for determining the change in bar volume from 1985 to 2013.

Fifteen patients were required to have 80% power to detect a 4% change in BAR; 29 patients to detect a 0.05 mm change in CIMT and 13 patients to detect a 0.4 unit change in TAC with conversion to NHD.
We were powered to detect clinically significant changes in LVMI, BAR, TAC and CIMT.
However, we did not find statistically significant changes in match (bar release) responses across blocks, by analyzing all the sessions in which found an improvement in learning performance (p > 0.05; ANOVA test).
