"change of binding" is a correct and usable phrase in written English.
It is most often used to describe changing the terms of a contract or agreement, particularly when referring to changing the time period of the agreement, or the terms of a lease. For example, you could say: "The landlord granted the tenant a change of binding on their lease agreement for an additional month."
