Initial addition of 2 % CHA resulted in PI reduction for 2 of the three samples while upon addition of 6 % CHA, PI increased again.
The DCW and CHA production increased with the increase of carbon source concentration at the range of 60 100 g/L, but both decreased when the concentration was above 100 g/L (Fig. 1b).
Observable indicators for the CHA strategy include the contribution of CHAs towards increased antenatal visits, detections of respiratory tract infections, treatment of TB cases and malaria, use of bed nets and community sanitation standards, as well as reductions in infant and maternal mortality rates within the catchment areas.
At the acute stage of infection, besides IFN-γ, the expression of IL-4 and IL-10 in the Vac-Cha group increased significantly at week 6 post-challenge.
The granzyme b mRNA level in the Vac-Cha group increased significantly, compared with the Vac-Con and Inf-Con groups, while the expression of cxcl12 and igfbp3 in the Inf-Con group were significantly higher than those in the Vac-Cha group (Figure 8B).
The number of EPO gene transcripts in hepatoma and specifically in the human CC cell line Mz-Cha-2 increased significantly compared to normal hepatocytes (Fig. 9c).
Finally, the level of IL-4 in the Vac-Cha group only increased at week 6 post-challenge, and levels of this cytokine in the other groups remained low at all times.
The results indicate that the facial features with full cheeks and protruding philtrum and the thoracic roentgenographic findings with increased CHAs to the ribs represent the pathognomonic features of UPD 14 pat and related conditions from infancy through the childhood.
On the other hand for the SE shale, there was reduction in PI only up to 6 % CHA addition after which PI increased up to 14 % CHA addition and later dropped with continuous increase in CHA content.
