Domestic wastewater was subjected to a chemically enhanced primary treatment (CEPT), followed by treatment in an upflow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) reactor.
When measured in optimal conditions, the maximal specific activity decreased in the order CK, CEPT and CCT. Figure 7 summarizes the steps involved in P. falciparum de novo PC synthesis, and the corresponding kinetic parameters are indicated in Table 3.
